Lander City, Mayflower — Municipal services in Lander City have gone on strike following complaints of poor developer support and a lack of leadership within the city’s administration. In a statement from Lander City Services, Director Zrihem says, “The recent budget cuts on LCS has had a drastic effect on our employees. We believe that raising taxes in Broadview and The Hole will help to accumulate the proper funds to run this department.”

City officials announced that until further notice, household trash will not be picked up. In a controversial move, the government has advised citizens to dispose of their garbage in the Lander River as a temporary solution.

The directive has drawn mixed reactions from the community, with some residents expressing frustration over environmental concerns, while others say it is the only option left in the absence of city services.
