Lander City, Mayflower — Around 2:00 PM EDT on April 25th, multiple workers of the Union of Columbia Postal Service (UCPS) gathered at the cross streets of 3rd Avenue and Grand Concourse, near the Lander District Court. The protesting postal workers said that they were underfunded, undervalued, and lacked developer support.

However, this is not the first instance of concerns amongst mail carriers. Postal workers across the Union of Columbia have been raising issues regarding their work and pay since August 2002. One of the protesting postal workers, who asked to remain anonymous, said to M-SPAN reporters on scene “[they] are underestimated” and that “better development support is needed for the department.”

It also appears that UCPS management share the same concerns as the workers. Lusolabs, the deputy postmaster, said to M-SPAN that the service “has been neglected and does not receive updates frequently.” He added that of the developers “did not respond last year” when he reached out to discuss potential updates for UCPS.

As of for now, UCPS officials had not issued further comment at the time of reporting. Attention now turns to the Central Authority, which controls development decisions and has not indicated whether it will address the concerns raised.
