Because MandatoryMorale has joined the Broadview County Law & Order Party, a political organization, as Leader/Director of the party, he has violated Canon 5(A)(1) of the United States Court’s Code of Conduct for United States Judges and has therefore broke Section 401 of the Broadview County Charter, which states “They (Judges) shall serve their position in good behavior…” This is an activity unbecoming of a judge and exposes the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit and all Residents of the County of Broadview to extreme bias and prejudice.

Politics inevitably weaves its presence into the fabric of our conversations, usually finding itself at the dinner table during holiday gatherings. However, a worse place than politics weaves itself into is the Courts. As Ruth Bader Ginsburg said, “For justice to prevail, the courts must stand as impartial guardians, untainted by the hues of partisan politics.” It is challenging for a court to function properly if there are biased judges. But, “Decision-making by justices of the Supreme Court has become increasingly polarized” (Kritzer). Just like in the Supreme Court, politics has infected the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit as well.

On the 5th of December, Broadview’s first licensed political party Broadview County Law & Order Party was given its official License to Operate by County Clerk AlbertWellesly. TaxesArentAwsome is the Chair of the Party, however, according to the Bylaws of the Party, MandatoryMorale is an initial at-large representative of the party. According to those same bylaws, an at-large representative serves as a Director of the Executive Committee and has voting powers on all matters.

According to the United States Courts’ Code of Conduct for United States Judges Canon 5(A)(1) act as a leader or hold any office in a political organization. On the 14th of December, the Secretary of State of Florida officially recognized the Broadview County Law & Order Party as a political organization.
