After the recent Ridgeway Senate Elections, the new Senators have gotten to work typing up bills; some good, and some bad. Here are a brief description of each bill currently on the table and any opinions regarding them.
S6-01 | The Dueling Act – Introduced by Br1452232
This act makes dueling legal if;
- it happens outside of city limits (if firearms are involved);
- it is done on foot and confined within a 200 stud radius;
- both parties consented on paper and doesn’t jeopardize anyone else’s safety
- a third party witnesses it
- it is recorded by at least one person
S6-02 | Recognition and Reservation Act – Introduced by Timbowalk
This act allows native tribes to register in Ridgeway, which officially recognizes tribes. The Alder Mountain would be given to the Alder Native American Tribe. Ridgeway Parks Service would have jurisdiction in these tribes.
S6-03 | Attempt Amendment Act – Introduced by Atlantxic
Just read this yourself, I don’t feel like explaining it.
S6-04 | Highway Speed Act – Introduced by Br1452232
This act increases speed limits on highways from 70 SPS to 90 SPS. LargeTitanic2 has stated that he will be vetoing this act.
S6-05 | The Checkpoint Amendment Act – Introduced by Br1452232
This act enables the Ridgeway National Guard to set up checkpoints anywhere outside of the Military Exclusion Zone
S6-06 | Theft Tool Prohibition Act – Introduced by Timbowalk
This act makes it illegal to possess tools 1which may be used for theft.
S6-07 | Ploppables Act – introduced by Timbowalk
This act sets guidelines of where and when “ploppables2” can be placed
S6-08 | The Left on Red Act – Introduced by Br1452232
This act makes it legal to turn left on red. Governor Largetitanic2 has announced his intentions to veto this bill
Legal Analysis – This act would probably be better if it amended 7 R. Stat. § 3501 (iv)3 cause I said so.
