Palmer, Ridgeway — In the early hours of the morning of April 6th, the Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) obtained a search warrant issued by the Ridgeway Superior Court against a local street vendor. The street vendor, situated on Jackson Street a block from the Superior Court House, was alleged to be selling products without proper licensing from the state.

RCSO deputies executed the warrant at 12:23AM EST, with them using explosive charges to breach through the roof of the tent. Witnesses say that the vendor was struck by shrapnel, resulting in his death. The street vendor, which officials have not released the identity, is reported to be a middle-aged male of Hispanic dissent.
