The Attorney General of the State of Mayflower has dropped what many consider to be a bombshell in the wake of the recent change in leadership at the Lander City Police Department. M-SPAN reported yesterday that Otamaleh would be filling the small shoes of former Chief of Police Coupists as the new top cop in Mayflower’s capital. Coupists was ordered removed from his command by Governor Orangebear22 earlier this week, with allegations of corruption central to the recent changes in leadership.

However, Attorney General xolaaz tells M-SPAN that the issues of corruption do not end at the Chief’s Office. A press release today highlights the actions of several other command members within the LCPD who acted in direct violation of not only the Governor and the Attorney General’s orders, but also those from the Central Authority.

Shortly after the nomination of Otamaleh was officially announced, he found himself banned from the LCPD Discord server and other operational channels. Shortly after the ban was issued, Captain Jackiphobe reversed the action and restored the majority of the Otamaleh‘s roles at the direction of Moderator coolg6ry. The Attorney General stated that nearly immediately after the ban was reversed against Otamaleh, Captain Jackiphobe found themself to be stripped of all Discord permissions and banned from the server, this time at the behest of Bureau Chief Lusolabs.

The image below was released by the Attorney General as part of the ongoing investigation into the deep-running corruption. It shows that Bureau Chief Lusolabs falsely and intentionally obstructed the change of leadership by altering the roles of both Chief Otamaleh and Captain Jackiphobe, which prevented them from accessing the LCPD Discord server. Bureau Chief Lusolabs refused to comment, and told our reporters to “Go fuck yourself.”

Attorney General xolaaz provided the following statement as part of his interview with M-SPAN reporters:

“As Attorney General, I will not stand by while the leadership of the Lander City Police Department disregards lawful directives or engages in retaliation. My office will act decisively to ensure that order, accountability, and integrity are restored and maintained.”

xolaaz, Mayflower Attorney General

The investigation continues, but one thing is for sure: the corruption alleged by Orangebear22 was not limited to the Chief of Police. The issues inside the LCPD run deep, and it should be expected to see a lot of new faces in leadership as the new Chief gets to work to eliminate the widespread corruption under his predecessor.
