C’s Get Degrees; Civic Center Lander Wok Barely Passes Upon Re-evaluation

LANDER CITY, Mf. — Within the Civic Center in Lander, a popular Chinese restaurant barely missed its mark on a recent health inspection. After an initial inspection—which resulted in the location being shut down for 3 weeks—a follow-up inspection was conducted on August 6, 2025.

The location secured a “C” grade, with it acquiring a total of 73 points for sanitary violations.

The store manager of the Civic Center Lander Wok came outside to greet us and discuss the letter grade.

“Herro, it very, VERY bad we get C from check. Dhis not fair. We now try make appealr, do THE best. We still make most real Chinese Wok deep fried food in all Lander. Come now, all meal come wit egg woll”

Beyond that, a email response from Lander Wok Corporate indicated that they are considering civil action against the City of Lander. One of the sanitary violations alleged is that the ingredient use of “felines” and “doggy” are unsanitary; Lander Wok contests this, and says that enforcement of such is a violation of the Columbia Civil Rights Act of 1989.
